  • Broadcast Journalist.  Anchor, writer, editor, interviewer, news manager.  Talk-journalist (inventor of the term), meaning to ad-lib live, observe an event or engage in a spontaneous conversation with a newsmaker/source, usually without benefit of hard copy reference materials.  Both radio and television.
  • Marketing/Communications.  Advertising, merchandising, press & public relations, including graphic and layout designs, copy writing, radio and television production -- live and/or live to tape, music jingles, print production, and more -- inception to implementation.  Engaged contract services for market studies, high volume direct mail printing, and more.

  • 2nd Place 1998 and 1999, Florida Associated Press Broadcasters Association, major markets, best community, issues, events oriented program in state.
  • The Friendship Award, presented September 2000, by Friendship Trailbridge Committee, for my many live and taped stories that helped save the old Gandy Bridge.  hOUR Tampa Bay and It's My Town Tampa Bay, were the first broadcasts to give serious media attention to that cause.
  • Scores of thank you letters of appreciation, certificates, and other recognition.
